Food

Here at Bethania Community Centre we try to give back to the community as much as we can.

We have a range of services that the community benefits from such as:

$5 Hamper

With the price of living going up we off $5 food hampers for people that range from pantry goods, fresh vegetables, and meats. Please note that we currently can only accept cash for these.

Free Food

Pop into the community centre from 9am-2pm during the week to see what items we have for free these normally range from bread, vegetables and fruits.

Amenities

We offer access to clean, private showers for anyone in need. Please contact us for details.

Our Services

Rehoming/ Furniture assistance

We assist people transitioning out of domestic violence situations by helping them refurnish their homes and create safe, comfortable new beginnings. We also provide furniture moving support for elderly residents, helping them stay safe and independent.

Community Café

Our volunteer-run Gold Coin Café offers an inclusive space for everyone to enjoy a meal or a coffee. A small gold coin donation helps keep the initiative running while fostering social connection.

How You Can Help:

We gratefully accept donations of:

  • 📚 Books – for community shelves and literacy programs

  • 👕 Clothes – clean and gently used, for all ages

  • 🥫 Non-perishable food – to support local families doing it tough

These items go directly to individuals and families in our community.
